SM150-FG1 Silicone Foam Rubber
Use Range:
SM150-FG1 is an ultra-thin two-layer composite material uniformly coated with solid ceramifiable silicone rubber on one side. At room temperature, this material exhibits the elasticity, sealing capability, and processability of silicone rubber. However, when exposed to high-temperature flames or extreme overheating (e.g., above 500 ° C), the special additives within it react with the silicone matrix, sintering to form a hard, porous ceramic-like crust. This provides fire resistance, flame retardancy, ablation resistance, and creates an insulating thermal barrier.
